Ergobaby has yet released another baby carrier, making our task of buying one a lot harder. It was already hard enough to compare products with other brands. Now it has added something to the list and it’s equally great. Or is it?
Here in this article, we are going to tackle two baby carriers from Ergobaby: the 360 and Omni 360, the newest in the family.
We all loved this model because it’s perfect for forward-facing position. Added to that is the incredible design that offers great lumbar support. And who doesn’t need it right? Carrying a baby is not the easiest job.
What’s most remarkable about this product, may it be for better or worse, is its infant insert. Some parents love it, some deem it unnecessary. Those who feel the latter are convinced there are other baby carriers out there that could make life much easier with the omission of the insert.
Another thing that parents noticed is the straps are a little bit bulkier than other similar products. This can’t be good given you’ll be carrying your baby for long durations and the strain could be focused on the shoulders. Having bulky straps certainly does not alleviate it. If anything, it could worsen the situation.
Despite the weaknesses we mentioned, there are of course good points that we should take note of. One is the material and the body design. Compared to the Omni, the 360 model is much softer. Making it more suitable for infants. They have extremely delicate skin. So…
Another great thing about it is it offers multiple options in terms of positions. You can use it until your baby is 3 years old because this carrier conveniently grows with them. It’s also cheaper than Omni.

Ergobaby Omni 360
Omni is well-loved because of its versatility. It also offers multiple positions but considering it’s a newer model, it includes features that you can’t find in the 360 model.
Ergobaby certainly wasn’t able to address the issue on their bulky straps. A lot of parents still find them bulkier than a lot of other baby carriers. Another thing you also need to consider is its price. It’s more expensive than the 360 model. In fact, it is the most expensive one among all Ergobaby carriers.
As mentioned, there are several features that you can find in the Omni that aren’t in the 360. For instance, its straps offer a higher level of security given that it goes across your back. It also has an additional pocket and pouch that you can easily detach when you don’t need it. With 360, you’d need an infant insert to be able to use it for your newborn. You can perfectly use the Omni for the same purpose without the insert.
